Bringing plug-and-play IoT to the field with simplicity and scalability

CHOOVIO's product lineup is geared toward real-time data monitoring across a variety of key parameters—including temperature, humidity, soil moisture, CO₂ levels, water flow, and power usage. The company offers a broad portfolio of sensors, gateways, and complete kits, partnering with well-known brands like Dragino, Milesight, Kerlink, and Netvox.

"We're a California-based distributor and solutions provider, and we're passionate about plug-and-play sensing technology," says Clarice Henderson, Business Development Manager at CHOOVIO. "From our U.S. headquarters, we handle everything from logistics to product development, ensuring fast delivery and regional support for our growing client base."

The company is focusing on scalable, easy-to-deploy IoT solutions. Specializing in LoRaWAN-based hardware and software, the company is gaining traction in agriculture, smart building management, and industrial automation across the United States.

From sensors to full solutions
"Our goal is to make it easy for users to monitor what matters most," Clarice says. "We offer everything from individual sensors to end-to-end solutions that can be deployed rapidly and require minimal integration."

As CHOOVIO prepares to launch its own IoT platform, the company is working towards an integrated ecosystem. "We're developing a platform that allows users to visualize and manage all their connected devices in one place," she explains. "It's designed to streamline both setup and scaling, helping customers get the most from their data."

Piloting innovation in the field
CHOOVIO is currently involved in several exciting new projects set to roll out in 2025 and beyond. Among them are pilot deployments in collaboration with universities and local farms throughout California, as well as partnerships focused on water conservation.

"We're especially proud of the agricultural pilot programs we're supporting. By working closely with universities and growers, we're helping to build smarter systems for crop and resource management. These collaborations are critical for testing new ideas and proving the long-term value of IoT technology in the field."

Embracing a shift toward smart automation
Clarice sees a clear trend toward automation across CHOOVIO's verticals. "There's a growing demand for battery-operated and solar-powered sensors that are easy to install and offer long-term reliability. More and more customers want solutions that don't require heavy infrastructure or complex integration."

This is where CHOOVIO's plug-and-play philosophy shines. "People want fast deployment and dependable results," she adds. "That's why our solutions are resonating with farmers, facility managers, and operations teams alike."

Navigating challenges with a customer-first approach
Of course, even in a rapidly growing market, challenges remain. Like many tech providers, CHOOVIO has had to navigate supply chain disruptions and rising import costs.

"Tariffs and customs costs have certainly been a hurdle. But we've addressed this by boosting our U.S.-based inventory, strengthening our relationships with manufacturers, and clearly communicating lead times for backorders."

The company also places a strong emphasis on education and support, particularly as many customers are new to IoT. "We invest a lot in documentation, guided onboarding, and responsive customer service," she explains. "Helping people understand and trust the technology is just as important as the tech itself."

More developments
"Our vision is to give users the power to monitor, manage, and optimize their operations with minimal friction. Whether it's a single sensor or a full smart farm deployment, we're here to make IoT accessible, scalable, and impactful."

With a solid foundation, a growing network of partners, and an eye on user-friendly innovation, CHOOVIO is proving that smart farming doesn't have to be complicated—it just has to work.
