DSE, which operates "Hippo Farm Tech," a brand specializing in plant growth LED lighting, will unveil its container-type smart farm testbed to the public.
On the 20th, DSE announced that it will participate in the "2025 Resident Agricultural Machinery Fair" to be held at Taepyeongseong University Gyeongsang Gamyeong Park in Sangju, Gyeongsangbuk-do from the 25th to the 28th. The fair is hosted by Sangju City and organized by the Korea Agricultural Machinery Industry Cooperative, aiming to revitalize the domestic agricultural and equipment industry and create a foundation for overseas exports. At the event, various cutting-edge technologies in the field of "AgTech," such as autonomous agricultural machinery, agricultural robots, AI, and ICT facilities, will be displayed. A total of 230 companies will participate and showcase more than 370 items.
DSE plans to emphasize the usability of plant growth LED lights at this fair and introduce the possibilities of LED lights in various fields such as smart agriculture, urban agriculture, and plant factories. In particular, Hippo Farm Tech's "Container-type Smart Farm Test Bed" experience event will be held during the fair. The Hippo Farm Tech container-type smart farm testbed is a demonstrative plant factory consisting of six large containers installed within DSE's resident plant.

Here, leafy vegetables, sprouts, fruits, and mushrooms are grown, and they are used to study the optimal LED wavelength for each plant and develop products. Visitors to the fair can experience this testbed firsthand and see practical applications of smart farm technology.
