US: Colorado vertical farm offering tour of its operations

Residents who have wondered about the indoor farm operation above Uchi in the RiNo neighborhood will get a chance to check it out for themselves.

JFS Altius Farms, 2500 Lawrence St. in Denver, is offering a one-of-a-kind tour at 10 a.m. on February 1st. Participants will walk through the greenhouse and discover how the farm grows fresh, sustainable produce from seed to sale. Participants will also learn about the farm's methods, products, local customers, and the impact of sustainable farming.

Tickets cost $25. Proceeds support JFS job and intern training programs.
