Large-scale strawberry vertical farm to be built in Africa

Parus has announced the launch of a project in collaboration with Africa Farming Industries (AFI). This initiative will establish the first large-scale strawberry vertical farm on the African continent.

This partnership aims to create a sustainable agricultural model. By utilizing PARUS's advanced vertical farming systems with software-controlled solutions and automated cultivation technology, we strive to address challenges in food security, urban agriculture, and access to fresh produce in Africa.

First phase
The initial farm will cover an area of 5,000m², with plans for gradual expansion. It is expected that the first harvest will be carried out in the first half of next year.

Parus hopes to extend its range all over the world, aiming to supply fresh strawberries to Africa and neighboring regions such as the Middle East and Europe.

They invite participation from relevant professionals to ensure the success of this project.
