The University of Plymouth and UK Urban AgriTech are inviting growers and industry professionals to the 2nd International Conference on Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA), taking place in Plymouth this February.

This training-focused conference will feature keynote lectures, workshops, panel discussions, networking sessions, and exhibitions, offering hands-on opportunities to explore cutting-edge technologies.
Key themes include the role of CEA technology in addressing global food security, overcoming scientific and commercial challenges in scaling up CEA, and the pharmaceutical impact of plants cultivated in CEA systems.
Speakers
The conference will feature an impressive lineup of speakers. On Day 1, attendees will hear from Professor Christopher Fogwill, Professor Richard Preziosi and Dr. Hail Rihan from the University of Plymouth, Professor Derek Stewart from The James Hutton Institute, Professor Abdullah Alrajhi from the National Centre for Sustainable Agriculture, James Lloyd-Jones from Jones Food Company, Rixta Sievers from Grow Up Farms, Tristan Fischer from Fischer Farms, Dr. Katie Illsley-Wilkins from Vertical Future, and Dr. Mark Else from the National Institute of Agricultural Botany.
On Day 2, speakers include Dr. Lynn McCallum from the University of Plymouth, Dr. Sebastian Vaughn from Phytome Research Ltd, and Professor Saul Purton from University College London.
