US: University of Missouri to host hydroponics workshop

An in-person University of Missouri Extension workshop on Dec. 4 aims to teach small farmers the how-tos and the business of growing hydroponically.

Topics covered in the workshop will consist of controlled environment agriculture and hydroponic basics, hydroponic growing systems, steps to starting a small farm, enterprise budgets, crop classes, and general hands-on practical information.

Lunch will be provided, and this class is taught in person. Participants will receive a hydroponics starter grow kit. Entry fee is $15.
