A delegation from the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan has embarked on a study trip to the Republic of Korea to learn about advanced practices in the comprehensive development of rural areas.
During the trip, the delegation held a meeting with the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), where key issues were discussed, including e-commerce, support for local agricultural producers, expanding into new markets, and the implementation of technologies and startups.
A visit was also organized to the Rural Development Administration in Jeonju, where professionals shared their experience in the implementation of "smart agriculture" and pilot projects aimed at supporting vulnerable populations.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation toured the Smart Farm Innovation Valley, where participants studied modern greenhouses, educational farms, and technologies used for growing vegetables and fruits.
