Vertical farm signs MoU for collaboration at Saudi Agriculture Exhibition

The Acting Director General of the National Research and Development Center for Sustainable Agriculture (Estidamah), Khalid Al Rohily, announced the center's participation in the Saudi Agriculture Exhibition, held at the Riyadh International Exhibition and Convention Center from October 21 to 24. This involvement is part of Estidamah's ongoing efforts to transfer knowledge, develop research output in sustainable agriculture, and engage with farmers, agricultural companies, and researchers to introduce them to the latest technologies and research supporting the Kingdom's sustainable agriculture goals.

Al Rohily noted that Estidamah's participation includes the signing of several memorandums of understanding with local and international companies. These agreements feature an MoU with Nesma Infrastructure and Technology focusing on controlled-environment agriculture, an MoU with Mishkat Company to transfer and apply specialized research findings and implement training programs, and an MoU with Living Green Farms covering areas such as tissue culture, aeroponics, and vertical farming.
