Using AI to capture CO2 is still in its infancy and it is still very expensive. But it is possible, and can be done a lot better, argues AI scientist Max Welling in the Dutch news medium BNR Digital. With his new company CuspAI, he already raised 30 million euros. "It's currently $800 to $1000 per tonne and that needs to come down to $100 to $300 per tonne," he says.
CuspAI raised $30 million in funding earlier this year.
