JASA Packaging Solutions has appointed Filipe Oliveira da Silva as its new CEO. He will take over day-to-day management from Eduard de Haan, who will remain active within the Alkmaar-based company in a new role. "With his extensive international experience and proven expertise in growth strategies, Oliveira da Silva is well prepared to lead JASA to a new level of expansion and innovation," the company reports.
The 42-year-old Oliveira da Silva has built an international career, with experience in countries such as Portugal, Brazil, Mexico, and Sweden. "JASA's operations and plans fit perfectly with my experience. This is a company on the rise. With a strong focus on professionalization, innovation, and internationalization, I look forward to working with JASA's exceptional team to drive our growth in the coming years," Oliveira da Silva said.
Eduard de Haan will remain involved in JASA full-time as a shareholder and in a new role. He will further facilitate the buy-and-build strategy, which includes overseeing company acquisitions that will broaden JASA's product portfolio. In addition, De Haan will take the lead in opening new branches and establishing strategic partnerships, which are essential to JASA's long-term growth plan. "I am very happy with this reinforcement," says De Haan. "We strive for quality in all areas, and Filipe is a fantastic addition."
Oliveira da Silva is looking forward to this new challenge: "A beautiful company, great products, great people and lots of opportunities."
