Farm.One visit

"This past weekend, I had the privilege of attending Climate Week NYC with fellow executive members from Net Impact UC. We had the pleasure of touring FarmOne, a pioneer in urban farming innovation, brewing craftsmanship, and culinary excellence. At FarmOne, they cultivate unique microgreens, specialty herbs, edible flowers, and premium salad greens for chefs, restaurants, and consumers. The team shared insights into agritecture and innovative, eco-friendly methods of plant harvesting.

Additionally, we participated in the Market One Soho event, which featured insightful panels on topics ranging from data storytelling to leveraging art for environmental awareness. The market showcased impressive green start-ups and companies.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the president of Net Impact UC, Sofia Ferrigolo for meticulously organizing this event and to all the members for making this trip memorable. Special thanks to Net Impact UC for sponsoring our participation," shares Mirsayah Wasnuk with UC Lindner Career Services.
