US: Oishii berries to come to Chicago Whole Foods Stores

After decades of eating strawberries bred for yield and transportability, you may have forgotten how magical a great berry can be.

Why it matters: New Jersey-based Oishii indoor farm wants to rekindle that magic with its Koyo Berries that arrive at local Whole Foods stores this week.

It'll cost you $10 for a four-ounce package.

This Japanese berry varietal, which ripens fully on the vine before being picked and packaged, has an intense berry flavor and fruity fragrance.
