Easyfairs and World Horti Center continue their partnership

In 2023, Easyfairs partnered with the World Horti Center. This partnership aims to foster the horticulture sector as well as to, where possible, reinforce their respective events. The latter was already put into practice with the first WHC pavilion at the HortiContact fair and the participation of Easyfairs to network event Let's Meet.

The first exploration year was considered a success by both parties, which is why WHC and Easyfairs decided to continue their partnership.

Why this partnership?
One year ago Easyfairs, known for their HortiContact fair, and World Horti Center decided to join forces to foster the horticulture sector and to bring its promotion to a higher level. Other advantages of the partnership are mutual support for each other's events as well as the ability to benefit from each other's business networks.

Puck van Holsteijn, CEO of World Horti Center, points out: 'Last March, World Horti Center was present at HortiContact for the first time. It was a new experience for us to join a fair, but it led to great contentment. We see that we complement each other well on the various networks and thus jointly strengthen the horticulture sector.'

13 November Let's Meet
The first moment the continued partnership will be publicly manifested will be during the network event Let's Meet at World Horti Center on Wednesday, November 13th. Lucas van 't Hof, Head of Cluster Agri & Horti of Easyfairs: 'World Horti Center has asked us to think along with them. We are in a good position to do so, given our many years of experience with HortiContact. We're building a network occasion for both Spring as well as Autumn.'

Participants to Let's Meet will see major changes with regards to registration of visitors, but also with respect to the ability to tap into a new crowd. Also, the National Hortisymposium will be continued. Lucas: 'Last March we launched the National Hortisymposium and in November we aim to check where we stand now as a sector. What has changed for the better (or for the worse)? This input is ideal to serve as a bridge to HortiContact 2025.'

What is Let's Meet?
Let's Meet is a one day network event for the horticulture sector, organized in the heart of Westland. This event – which has growers as its main target audience, but is open for everybody – has meeting and networking as its prime purpose. For sector companies Let's Meet provides a great opportunity to present themselves to a public of professionals and other interested parties from the area.

During the entire day companies can network with existing business relations and have the opportunity to get acquainted with new parties. Let's Meet is open to participants of World Horti Center as well as to external companies.

Practical information about Let's Meet
Participating companies will have their spot of 3 square meters including a cocktail table with a black cover. The cocktail table can be used as the participant wants. Also, there's space for company promotion material such as a 3-meter wide background banner or two roll-up banners.

Coffee, tea, and water are included for the full day, which will be concluded with informal networking drinks. Taking part in Let's Meet is free for participants of the World Horti Center. For external companies, the costs will be €499 excluding VAT.
