Inflation in Armenia: Vegetables up by 14.3%, fruits by 11.6%
According to data from the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, consumer market inflation in the country reached 1.4% from July 2023 to July 2024. In July 2024, there was a deflation of 0.4% compared to the previous month. The most significant price increases were observed in vegetables and fruits. Vegetables rose by 14.3%, while fruits increased by 11.6% compared to July of the previous year. These figures significantly exceed the overall inflation rate.
