Harvest Today launches new growing port for the Harvest Wall

Harvest Today is at GreenTech Amsterdam June 11-13 to network and share knowledge with horticulture experts from all across the globe. The company will be showcasing its indoor growing solutions at booth #05.423 as well as announcing the launch of its new Harvest Tiles that feature four 83-mm grow ports for increased plant diversity and 5x more growth volume.

"Our Harvest Wall Vertigation System currently is made up of multiple Harvest Tiles that are 51 mm in diameter. With the addition of our larger 83 mm growing ports, we are encouraging greater plant diversity and a richer microbiome for more nutrient-rich and flavorful produce," the company says.

The Harvest Wall is designed to make indoor growing simple and to support everyone's unique plant-growing needs. "Now, Harvest Wall owners will be able to enjoy greater customizability by adjusting the layout of their walls with ports of varying sizes, so they can add new plants to every grow cycle."

"It blows my mind how we're going to be able to grow food," Rick Langille, CEO and Founder of Harvest Today, tells the team as they plan for the future of the Harvest Wall. "I'm humbled."

Most importantly, the Harvest Wall will bring fresh produce to communities of all sizes—no matter where they are in the world. Food insecurity is present all around the world. According to the United Nations Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO), nearly one billion people don't consistently have access to sufficient food to sustain themselves.

Harvest Today is on a mission to make fresh, nutrient-rich produce available in every region across the globe, and the addition of our new 83-mm Harvest Tile grow ports is helping communities grow more varieties of fresh produce that are packed with nutrients, so more people have access to food that actually fuels their bodies and benefits both physical and mental health.

Harvest Today Global Sales and Marketing Director Peter Maher's thoughts sum up what the company is about here best: "If you're doing this, there has to be some mission or passion component to it. Nobody's in this just for the money; we're in it for food production, for health."
